They’ve done it again. Is Don Draper writing advertisements for NBC Sports or something? I don’t know who is behind this brilliant marketing scheme that’s been going on over at NBC leading up to the new Premier League season, but it’s been god damn amazing. Most of what they’ve done has been 30 – 60 second commercials running on their networks during other major TV and sporting events, as well as a huge banner promotion in NYC’s subway.
So this time those folks over at NBC have hit us with a little interwebs/YouTube video with Hollywood funny-man Jason Sudeikis. If you haven’t seen it already, it’s been making it’s rounds on the internet for a few days now, you’ve been missing out. Sudeikis is playing “An American Coach in London” after being hired by Tottenham as the new coach, bringing his best American football tactics to the soccer pitch. Wales’ Gareth Bale even makes a cameo, inciting coach to ask “How many countries are in this country?”
